Roger Adrià rides to a strong 3rd place in the Italian one-day race Coppa Bernocchi (UCI 1.Pro). In cold and wet weather conditions in northern Italy, the 174km long autumn classic turned into a tough elimination race. With 45 kilometres to go, Adrià made it into the decisive breakaway. It was not until the final kilometre that the five-man group including Roger Adrià was able to catch B. Lemmen, who had been leading as a soloist until then. In the final sprint, the 26-year-old Spaniard secured his fourth podium finish of the season.

“I had great legs today - without a tactical mistake in the last kilometre maybe even more would have been possible. Like on Saturday at the Giro dell' Emilia, it was another pretty tough day of racing today. My team-mates worked hard for me, many thanks to the guys!
