Laurence Pithie joins Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe

The next talent is on the horizon for 2025: Laurence Pithie will wear the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe jersey from next season on. After his first two years in the WorldTour, the 22-year-old New Zealander will take the next step in his career with the German team.

Laurence Pithie was already on the road to success in January. His victory in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race was his first win at WorldTour level. He carried that momentum into the spring, wearing the yellow jersey at Paris-Nice, finishing in the top 15 in his first Monument ever at Milan-San Remo, and even 7th at Paris-Roubaix. Fast and with a great talent for one-day races, Laurence Pithie will strengthen the classics squad of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe.

I’m super excited to be joining Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe for the coming seasons. It is an impressive team with a great project for the future. I can’t wait to get started and progress as a rider in their new colours!

Ralph Denk

"Only 22 years old and already with his first WorldTour win, impressive debuts in San Remo, Roubaix and the Giro, and aggressive riding in major classics like Gent-Wevelgem. Laurence is still young, but his talent is no longer a secret. I am delighted that he has chosen to join our team and that we will be taking the next step in his career together."
