GRENKE - Auto Eder rider Lorenzo Finn is looking back on a phenomenal weekend, securing a solo victory at the Italian road championships. This was Finn’s second national title in just two weeks, having already claimed the Italian time trial championship in mid-June. “At the start of the season, I aimed to win one title. Winning both is simply incredible,” the young cyclist expressed his delight.
Finn has been riding for the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe junior team since this season. “Compared to previous years, everything is much more professional now,” he shares insights into the daily life at GRENKE - Auto Eder. “What I particularly like is that the team supports me strongly without putting me under pressure,” Finn adds. The next goal for the climbing and time trial specialist is the Ain Bugey Valromey Tour in France from July 10th to 14th, one of the most important stage races in junior cycling. It will be Finn's first race in his new Italian champion jersey.
